Hazrat Usman Ghani (Uthman ibn Affan) was the third Caliph of Islam and one of the most distinguished Companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Known for his exceptional character, generosity, and devotion to Islam, Usman played a pivotal role in the early Islamic community.
Usman was among the earliest converts to Islam and earned the honorable title "Dhul-Nurayn" (possessor of two lights) because he married two daughters of the Prophet. He was renowned for his wealth and used it generously to support the Muslim community, funding expeditions and providing aid to the needy.
As Caliph, Usman undertook the monumental task of standardizing the Quran into a single, unified text to preserve it for future generations. This achievement ensured the Quran's authenticity and prevented variations in its recitation across the expanding Islamic empire.
Usman's life exemplified integrity, humility, and unwavering faith. He faced significant challenges during his caliphate but remained steadfast in his commitment to Islam and justice. His legacy continues to inspire Muslims worldwide as a model of righteousness and service to faith and community.
